Extended survey database design with rules -

I've posted several survey questions and can not find what I am looking for ... anyone can expect Is help

I am trying to include a way to provide navigation and conditional paths for queries in the database schema.

Actually "if another is chosen please complete the text box with details" or "if so, please answer the next question" - Rules for completing the survey / questionnaire.

How do you implement these criteria in the General Criteria / Questionnaire Schema?

How about the infections table examined after answering the question: 

  transition_id int question_id int answer_id So after answering "other" on question 5 you can query this table to determine next_question_id.  
 You can add more than one transition and have a default (when answer_id IS is tap, maybe?).
